What's involved in installing infrared heating?
Infrared installation is largely electrical: panels are mounted to the wall or ceiling and wired to a fused supply with thermostats or smart controls per zone. There's no boiler, flue, radiators or pipework, so a typical home install takes one to two days with minimal disruption.
Our installation process
1. Free assessment
We discuss the space, how it's used and your goals, then take measurements to size the system correctly.
2. Honest design & quote
We size panels to the room's heat loss, plan the zones and controls, and give you a fixed price plus a realistic running-cost estimate.
3. Electrical installation
Panels are mounted to wall or ceiling and wired in by a qualified electrician. No wet pipework, so it's clean and quick — often a day or two.
4. Controls & handover
We set up thermostats, timers or smart controls per zone and show you how to run the system for the lowest cost.
